MAGON « 1 000 years »

Tout en douceur et nonchalance, « 1 000 years » de MAGON est extrait de son troisième album, In the Blue, sorti en décembre 2021 chez Howlin’ Banana, avec la participation d’Alexa Rotarescu et de sa voix sensuelle. Un hymne à la farniente estivale, il ne manque plus que le tintement des glaçons dans un verre perlé de goûtes fraîches. A noter que son quatrième album, A Night in Bethlehem, est sorti le 3 juin 2022 chez T. Rex Recordings.

POZI « Detainer man »

Trio londonien post punk sans guitare (basse, batterie, violon) et avec trois voix dont une féminine, POZI a sorti un album, PZ1, en 2019. « Detainer man » est extrait du EP Typing, sorti en 2021 chez PRAH Recordings, chanson musicalement répétitive et sans refrain, post punk quoi, qui parle d’un policier pré-programmé pour torturer les personnes qui ne se conforment pas au système.

DITZ « Ded würst »

Quintet noise, post punk, hardcore expérimental de Brighton créé en 2015, mais perturbé par de nombreux changements de line up, DITZ a sorti son premier album, The Great Regression, en mars 2022 chez Alcopop. « Ded würst » est une chanson à dominante noise parsemée de mélodies de synthés et clôturée par un refrain punk.

BEIGE BANQUET « Wired/weird »

Quintet scénique londonien art rock, post punk, lo-fi, krautrock, BEIGE BANQUET a sorti son premier album, Beta, en 2021 chez Swish Swash Records. Il a été quasi intégralement composé, enregistré et mixé par Tom Brierley.

THE CHAP « Jammer »

Un autre titre de THE CHAP, le talentueux collectif post pop berlino-londonien. « Jammer » est toujours extrait de The Show Must Go album sorti en 2015 chez Lo Recordings. Titre sans paroles, le chant produit uniquement des onomatopées, et le refrain est punky stylish.

CUCAMARAS « Death of social »

Quatuor indie post punk de Nottingham, CUCAMARAS a sorti son premier EP, Soft Soap, en mai 2022 chez Exag Records. « Death of social » est un titre pop punk avec une guitare à la East Bay Ray (Dead Kennedys) et des influences surf rockabilly.
